EV Compared is an independent UK publication covering electric cars, vans and the charging networks that support them. Articles are written and maintained by the EV Compared editorial team rather than a single byline, so that pricing, range and tax figures can be reviewed and corrected continuously as the market moves.

How we research

Range figures are official WLTP combined values taken from manufacturer UK specification pages, with real-world estimates drawn from independent comparative testing. Prices are UK list prices at the time of the latest update. Grant, tax and charging-scheme rules come from GOV.UK, HMRC and the operators themselves. Where a figure is contested or changes frequently, we say so in the article.

Corrections

If a number looks wrong, tell us and we will check it. Every guide carries a visible published and updated date so you can see how current the figures are.
